Hi Patti,
Sometimes a few days of fingerfeeding will get those little elevated
tongues down. Sometimes a nipple shield is helpful to prevent baby from
pushing mom's nipple out of his mouth if he tongue thrusts as well. And
head extension and an asymmetric latch usually helps too.
