I should clarify at my hospital no one would "allow" the babies not to have
anything. Of course, too, I expect expressing colostrum and attemping latch,
maybe very short bfs. I didn't mean nothing at all but just no major
interventions like formula or pumping in the first day or so - again I'm
thinking IF the baby is seeming to make progress towards effective bf.
