I had the lasix procedure done when my son was 15 months old and still
breastfeeding. I found it an opportunity to educate the surgeon and his
staff on the safety of these meds (prednisones, vibramycin-2 tabs, voltaren
and tobrex) while breastfeeding. I did decide not to use the Xanax just
some deep breathing! They agreed to proceed. Almost three years later I
still have the gifts of 20/20 vision and a breastfeeding relationship.
