it has been interesting reading the comments re this problem. one thing i
must mention - i remember being quite a new leader & copying a phone number
down from a message, the woman had an accent & i copied it down wrong, could
not figure out her name, & therefore was never able to return her call. i
felt terrible about it & the repercussions it could mean for the reputation
of the organization i represented. mothers should be encouraged to try again
if they don't get a return call - messages on machines can be erased by
spouses & children, pieces of papers with numbers on them lost, and so on.
the realities of life. lll leaders want to help women otherwise they
wouldn't be leaders but stuff happens.
