Dear Gonneke
I find it interesting that you wrote rice is "totally neutral". There *are*
babies who react to rice their mom has eaten. In fact, I have read that for
instance in Japan rice allergy is a problem, and that Japanese have created
a rice which should be less allergenic (sp?), have less those troublesome
proteins - but there are rice allergic babies here in Finland as well. One
thing I have learnt about allergies is that one can be / become allergic to
just about anything, there are no 'safe' foods
