Dear Friends:
I worked with a mother a long time ago that had a green discharge from
her breast. She had many other interesting variables with her lactation: she
had no nipples, just a hole; she leaked 2-4 ounces with every feed; she
breastfeed 2 children for one year each using a Davol nipple shield with a
Gerber silicon nipple over it. Her babies all thrived; the green discharge
never seemed to be a problem. Her babies drank her milk happily and grew well.
