Carol Chamblin posted regarding the need for us to bill for our professional
services. I am a little confused about the use of RN/IBCLC.
The IBCLC credential stands on its own, doesn't it? I know that although I
am a nurse, I sub-contract with two excellent IBCLCs who are not RNs. I want
us to be careful to establish the LC profession as a profession of its own,
not a sub-specialty of maternal child health nursing.
