I've been away on vacation and while browing last month's posts, I was
shocked to see the "same old rumors" circulating about White River Breast
Pumps. Our hospital has had White River pumps for years and would not trade
them for any of the "leading brands" because they work so well and the
mothers love them.
As far as being "lawsuit happy" as Kathleen Detwyler stated, I checked with
the company and the only lawsuit they ever filed in 15 years of business
was against one of the BIG breast pump companies (you know...the one that
owns this site) and it was because they were spreading malicious rumors
(like the ones still being circulated).
As professionals, it's important to try things for yourself instead of
believing the kinds of things that are being said. The real loser is the
mom and her baby....when mom loses her milk and nobody will suggest that
she try something other than the "leading brand". Feel free to email me
directly with questions.
Hooray for Dr. Gordon and others who know better than the garbage that is
still being said about that pump. Also, anyone who says bad things about
any breast pump should be asked to put it in writing and sign it. Then and
only then should you take it seriously.
