Just a few words about the abbreviations and acronyms that I see on Lactnet:
1.  It usually makes me feel stupid.  My presumption is that you-all know
more than I do, and that's why nobody acts confused by them and 2. Here is
the list I have kept next to my computer of acronyms that have come
specifically off of Lactnet, some of which I have figured out and many of
which I have not:
OT, BRCA's, TIA, OTOH, IMO, IMHO, FWIW, TIC.

Thanks Kathleen for mentioning it.  Now I know that there are at least a few
others who are perplexed (and English IS my first language, BTW).
