Dear Friends:
Thanks to the many posters who have sent me emails saying that this
technique is useful. I have been working in lactation for 25+ years, have
taught Dancer Hand in training classes for years, and never used it or known
anyone who did use it. It isn't shown in any premature baby and bf videos. So
I wondered if it had any value.
It does, for babies with low tone or premies that lack fat pads in their
cheeks and can't hold their heads up.
