Hi Anna ... Yes, mum has ruled out pregnancy. I am now thinking that this
is not caused by teething as the child clearly has the ability to say "teeth
hurt". "Yuck" refers to bad tastes. Since it seems to only happen on the
right breast, I also doubt that it is caused by something in the mother's
diet. The child & mum have a great breastfeeding and nursing relationship,
nurse on demand which can lead to 4-5 times a day to 4-5 times in 2 hrs.
depending on the demand. The child also "marathon nurses" between 4am and
8am. Night nursings usually take place on the right breast and mum has not
noticed babe saying "It's yuck." during the night nursings. ( possibly due
to night nursing not necessarily being initiated by a need for food, rather
a need for comfort thus a different type of suckling ("non-nutrative
nursing"). ) Mum has made an appointment with her dr. and will get dr's
opinion and hopefully investigate other possibilities such as b/c. Will
post outcome.

Thanks for your input!
