Kristiansand, Norway: In case anyone wants a break from discussing
credentials and their various merits, try this for light relief.  From
Saturday's paper 'Dagsavisen', in an interview with a 39 year old female
talk show host named Dorthe Skappel.
What can you use your womanliness for?  Skappel laughs, and takes 5-6
seconds to come up with a suitable answer.  'No, I don't know.  I'm proud to
be a woman.  I don't know that I use my womanliness for much of anything,
but I can't be bothered pretending I'm not a woman.'
Her womanliness was presented nearly to excess, on the color pages of 'The
New' (a young people's mag) at one time.  When her photographer friend Grete
asked the former model to pose as an extra, Skappel said yes.  Half disrobed
and enormously engorged after having her second child, she met the former
footballer Anders Jacobsen.  He was to pose as a Greek god, something nature
had endowed him with all the qualifications to do.  'He was so handsome I
nearly died the first time I saw him!'  She had to phone home to Jon and
assure him she planned to stay married to him after the photo shoot.
'We were to be photographed in Grete's bed.  I was to lie with my head back,
and he was supposed to sort of lie here.'  Skappel pats herself
unembarassedly on the breast.  'As soon as anyone came in contact with those
engorged breasts of mine, the stream went straight out.  He was soaked in
breastmilk.  And that is about as un-erotic as you can get.'
