Just a quick comment on metoring. I had a very specific situation in which
I was very lucky to gain. I participated in the Blueprints project, and
was able to have my mentor come to me! Yes, I had already been working for
a few years, had job as an LC plus a private practice. The clientel that I
work with is totally different than what my mentor sees, and I gained so
much by having my mentor come to work with me and give suggestions and hear
how she would deal with a case. I also went to the states to see her
practice, but I gained the most info and knowledge on my own turf.
This was of course very expensive, but I would not trade the clinical
knowledge I gained.
