I know that mothers can and should breastfeed even if they don`t adopt
the particular kind of lifestyle that embraces co-sleeping, babywearing,
whole foods, etc. but I do think that many breastfeeding families also
enjoy meals together. My oldest is 18 years old and, aside from
individual vacations, sleep-overs etc. we have missed a handful or two
of suppers together. Sadly, this is ending... he has just announced he
has classes from 2:30 to 9 p.m. most days next year, which will probably
override family dinners :-(
Take away my change table, take away my cradle, but don't take away my
dining room table (with apologies to Dennis Lee).
