Judy this is so important! We talk about husbands being supportive during
bfing and during labor, but I still think that many women don't share their
feelings about this with their husbands. In my last labor my poor husband
knew that even though I was screaming for relief after 9 hours with the pit
turned up as high as it goes and 3 hours of my water being broken... it was
him that was able to whisper in my ear and tell me that HE knew I could do
it and that our baby would thank us for it someday.
