The baby has gained 10 oz on the NG tube and is continuing to nurse well.
They have tried 2 bolus feeds and she didn't throw up. They said she can go
home in 2 days with the NG tube, and they will have a home nurse visit every
2 days for weight checks. The MD said he wants this baby to gain 7 oz each
week from now on.
But The MD ( who was so negative to Bfing and told the mom she had to
wean)also  told the mother he was impressed with their dedication to Bfing,
their knowledge of Bfing and their bfing support system. What a change from
Wed! I hope he saw the handouts I took in!
The Dad said the handouts werre the best Father's Day present I could have
given him because it proved he isn't a idiot.
I consider you all as her support system because I conveyed all your good
wishes and advice to her.

(who also is happy because my daughter and new son in law are visiting for a
few days and we went shopping for essentials for their new home today and I
saw my daughter with her hands on things like dish drainers, mops and brooms.
I feel victorious because all the times during her teen years when we argued
over chores, she told me she would never marry a man who couldn't afford a
cleaning service!!)
