Latest IBCLICK! which I received today says price by exam or by recert will
be same, but doesn't say $, beginning Oct.1, 2001.  The gist of the article
is that recertifying by exam is preferred, but with the cost of recerting
by cerps being cheaper, that's what most  of us go for at 5 years  :-)
Recert by exam is preferred because recerting by cerps can not be
correlated with continuing competence.  In other words if we are studying
and reading we are continually up-dating our knowlege base and learning new
things.  You can still do 5 yrs as cerps and 10 years must be exam.
