And I guess my frustration is that women that are counseled about this,
because we know some are not they are just asked "do you want pain relief",
the ones that are counseled, are being counseled at a time in their labors
when they may not be making the best choice for themselves. No one has
warned them that labor is just that... labor. It's not easy, but the end
result is wonderful if you can just focus. Telling a woman about the
epidural risks when she is in labor and asking for pain relief is about like
telling someone who is going to fall off a cliff that the rope you are
throwing them may not be strong enough.. the person doesn't care they just
want the rope.
