Okay, another request for help...
Mom with baby in NICU for CF, pumping is going well,
but she is running out of freezer space! She is
interested in trying out plastic storage bags, but
read about fats and secretory IgA being lost (to some
degree) since they cling to the plastic material (a
textbook I have here at home-Lawrence-supports this,
but does not elaborate on the concern). She has some
bags that she likes (made by G*rb*r), but again, her
main concern is the loss of nutrients and she has said
she will keep using bottles if the bags aren't what's
best for her baby (sweet words!!).
Have searched Lactnet archives without much luck. Any
resources/literature would be appreciated.
Thanks! Carole
