I received an email back from the physicians
overseeing her care(she is on a study protocol). They would not comment on
the safety of it either. They also refused to test her milk or the baby's
blood levels. They said "my intent to help this mom was noble but
unnecessary". Don't know what they meant by that.
---------------------
bonnie, IME, you are noble, but they mean that your efforts to get this mom
breastfeeding are unnecessary because artificial feeding is perfectly good
and the risks of breastmilk laced with seizure meds are clearly very risky.
that's my interpretation.
has she spoken with pedys in her area about testing milk levels?
