you are setting up child to feel different, which has its own problems.
When my son Jeremy was four and still nursing frequently, I enrolled him in
a nursery school program in our neighbourhood. A few weeks after he started,
I asked him if he thought many of the other kids he went to school with were
nursing. His answer was "Only the happy ones."
