Has anyone heard about a new contraceptive patch that a Johnson & Johnson company has applied for FDA approval on? My guess is that its convenience will probably make it very popular.
JOHNSON & JOHNSON COMPANY FILES CONTRACEPTIVE PATCH WITH FDA
The RW Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute (PRI), a Johnson & Johnson company, said on Wednesday that it has submitted a new drug application for the Ortho Evra (norelgestromin/ethinyl estradiol)
transdermal contraceptive patch to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The report says this new patch provides 7-day continuous levels of estrogen and progestin. Similar, maybe to the combination oral contraceptives we advise breastfeeding mothers to avoid because of impact on milk supply?
