Pat,
I seriously doubt that a physician would want thyroid levels to remain
"high", especially since high thyroid can cause heart attack. The TSH levels
need to remain stable. Both hypo and hyper thyroid are not good. I question
a doctor who would want to keep elevated thyroid levels on a patient. Is she
seeing an endocrinologist, and exactly what levels does the doctor want to
remain high? -- Debbie Albert
