Question: when a baby (1-2mos) has a UTI as cause of FTT or low wt gain,
does the UTI necessarily present with high fever and symptoms of severe
illness? An PNP stated this is the case and I can't seem to find info on UTI
and FTT in my resources, but this doesn't seem to make sense as it's my
understanding that UTI is rather a hidden cause of FTT. Responses and
references would be helpful and appreciated. Sorry this is info needed
quickly and I haven't time to search archives.
