The best way to deal with hypoglycemia is to send the baby to the mom to the
nurse. (Well actually - the best way is to keep mom and baby together and
nurse ad lib!)

I think the latest PCEP guidelines say that hypoglycemic breastfed  babies
should be breastfed! My books are at work - but this would be good
ammunition for the "give the kids some formula" bunch.

By the way, our guideline is, boy may be circ'd 30 minutes post breastfed. I
don't have a citation though.
