Hi Rachel,
I have parents fill out the contracts provided by the pump company, then
I transfer the information to a computer database, so I can sort the
renters by payment due date, return due date, etc. I generate printed
reports monthly with a line for each pump with the renter's name, phone
no, the pump serial number, the due date of the payment, and a box for
recording the date that payments come in. These make it easy to see if
the person has not paid this month, in which case the box will be blank.
The program I use is Lotus Approach. I also use it for charting my
clients. It is easy to learn and easy to set up, and is relatively
inexpensive, either by itself or as part of Lotus Smartsuite.
(I have no financial relationship with Lotus...)
