Pat, Been an admirer of yours for a while--you have hit the nail on the
head. What would you do with an overmedicated baby with no suck for up to 2
days? I have found all methods, including bottle to be difficult, because
swallow is also impaired. I can't fix the root cause (Meds), so do
alternative feedings make sense, or is small amount by bottle just as
effective/ineffective regarding feeding and breastfeeding?
Thanks,
Patricia Ellis, RN, MA, IBCLC
