I am pleased to write that I Un-Ezzoed and Un-Whispered 4 mothers this past
week. Just in casual conversation I heard the key words, "schedule,"
"taking off the breast before asleep," etc. and I enlightened the mothers
about what they were really doing to their little ones.
One family had Dad at home and I invited him up to hear my take on the
programs. The Babywise book had been highly recommended by colleagues at
work. After I told him what I know and left the home, Dad got on the
internet and found a lot about the program. After reading for a couple of
hours he threw the book into the trash.
That I was able to clear up their misconceptions is the good news. That
they were only four out of the many families that I *don't* see is the
on-going bad news.
All four of these couples were very grateful for my sharing my knowledge
about the programs.
Jan, I like your names--misspellings-- for the books.
