This comes up continually. My patients usually MUST work, no choices in the
inner city.(The casinos are very unforgiving employers.  Don't like babies
or sick children! )   I tell moms to get BF well established first, then
introduce bottles around 3-6 weeks (much later and baby won't take bot).
The moms who do both right from the beginning are usually all bottle by six
weeks :-(  At least the wee ones get some breast milk.  But it is so sad
that one of the richest countries in the world has no decent paid maternity
