My 3rd, now 8 mos old, was born in a midwife-run, in-hospital birth center
here in NYC.

I shook (fast birth, intense 2nd stage), and they did indeed have lovely
warmed up blankets for me.  They tucked Yemima up underneath the blanket with
me as soon as the shaking started to settle down, and pretty soon she was
nursing away underneath, well before I was ready to give that cozy blanket up.
