I am posting this on behalf of a friend........

The foremost website devoted to Vegetarianism (and veganism) is seeking a
volunteer IBCLC to serve as the "resident breastfeeding expert." All this
requires is checking in on the site's bulletin board (pretty active) and
answering some questions. You don't have to devote all your time to it,
because there is already a lot of Mom-to-Mom support going on. The "experts"
at the site, however, have a bolder name when they post and people pay
attention when they "talk." There are other boards related to diet,
exercise, veganism lifestyle and they all have "experts" who sort of check
in and answer questions as they can. This is not a full-time thing and it's
even ok if days are skipped if necessary. Ideally, the more you post the
better, but since it is volunteer, they just hope to find someone willing.

The ideal person would be someone who is a vegetarian (no meat or fish in
their diet) and who has an understanding of the vegan lifestyle (which
includes living without animal products as much as possible) and who is an
IBCLC. Most all the moms who post here will be vegetarians or vegans.
(Vegans do not eat meat, fish, dairy or eggs.)

Please email me and I will get you in contact with the site owners. They
first asked me to do this and I told them they needed an IBCLC, not just a
"mom" like me. They recently and eagerly reposted an article I did on When
to Wean (which advocates extended nursing) and I know they are very
attachment parenting friendly.

It's a very good site and has some very prestigious "experts" serving in
other areas such as exercise, diet, veganism, etc.
