Mary Jozwiak writes:
"With my first two sections I was so fatigued and shaking so hard after 50
some odd hours of labor, hours of pushing and then the sections that I did
not have the physical strength to hold my babies. My husband tried to put
the second child to my breast but the shaking was so intense that nursing
was impossible for at least an hour."

By the time I got to the end of this paragraph I nearly fell off my chair at
the last word.

Contrast this with the quote someone many months ago cited, from some
website or other, where a mother explained her choice to give formula, 'I
tried BF once. It was the hardest 20 minutes of my entire life!'

I am relieved that Mary's post did not contain any hint of apology for her
needing to wait to BF after her two unplanned caesareans.

Mothers are incredible.
