We generate such a volume of mail on Lactnet that, even on digest, I can't
possibly read all of the messages.  So I pick and choose which threads in
each digest to read.  I end up ignoring many.

Well, I just learned that there's a price to be paid for that <grin>.
Earlier today, I sent out a request for input on the use of RU 486 (commonly
known as the abortion pill) during breastfeeding.  Couldn't find it in Hale,
or my Mosby's Drug Reference, or even in the Lactnet archives.  The client
ended up faxing me what looks like the pharmaceutical's insert.  Turns out
there are two medications involved in taking RU 486.  The first one (which
I'd still like some information on!) is Mifeprex (mifepristone).  The 2nd,
which is taken on day 3 of this process is - guess what? - CYTOTEC!  Which
leaves me laughing at myself as I sit here, since I have dutifully ignored
every single one of the recent Lactnet posts on the subject!  I kept
noticing Cytotec in the subject lines, but didn't read them, because I
didn't think I needed to!  HA!

So I went BACK to our archives just now and read all of the recent stuff on
cytotec.  ::Sigh::

She's due to take it tomorrow, having been warned by me to hope that she
doesn't hemorrhage.  Her baby is 6 months old.

The moral of my story is:  be careful of the threads you DON'T read....you
may wish the very next day that you had!
