Correct me if I am wrong..my BFing texts are at work..and I'm at home...
Isn't progesterone more a hormone of pregnancy then BFing? Isn't it the
withdrawal of progesterone hormones upon delivery of the placenta that
induces lactogenesis II?
If this is the case...then that argument doesn't hold water...unless there is
something I'm missing here.
On a personal note, I have a tendency for stiff joints...(never
diagnosed)....I never had a problem with them during pregnancy or
lactation..In fact, the stiffness stopped at conception..even before I knew I
was pregnant.....the problem came back after I weaned...I attributed the
improvement to the hormonal changes.
