Is this condition called Chylothorax? If so, I know someone who had a baby
recently with Down Syndrome and chylothorax, long involved history of
breathing and cardiac problems, chest tube, NG tube, who did receive
breastmilk, I believe.
Let me know if you want me to put you in touch with my friend, whose
sister's baby this is. I don't know the details, but I do know that the
mother pumped for a LONG time, so I know that the baby must have gotten
breastmilk.
