When we see any bruising we shouldn't overlook the possibility of
abuse.  (Of course, we also should not automatically assume bruises
come from being abused either.)  It is possible that a mom might
present to the LC with imposed bruises purportedly to see if they
relate to breastfeeding, but consciously or subconsciously as a cry
for help. Just a thought.
