The shaking is fairly common both after delivery and sometimes before, during
the transition period. In my Lamaze classes, I always explain it by saying,
it is the bodies reaction the the intensity of labor. It is not because they
are chilled, though the warm blankets do help relieve the shaking. I had a
VBAC, vaginal birth after c/section, and had the shaking after the delivery.
My teeth were even chattering.
