HI, I HAVE A MOM DUE TO DELIVER IN 2 MONTHS. sHE HAD A LUMPECTOMY, CHEM AND
RADIATION TO THE LEFT BREAST FOR NON ESTROGENIC BREAST CANCER 2 YEARS AGO.She
would like to breastfeed but is concerned that it may increase her cancer
risk. I told her all the benefits, though we will have to watch close for the
radiation effects possibly limiting production, but that it may be okay
especially from right breast. She would love to talk to a mom who has
breastfed after lactation or read any published studies about it or its
effect on reoccurrence. I sent her LLL CA bivbliography, all of which was
preventing ca not after. Any one have any ideas or experience with this?
