Thank you for sending this!  This issue never ceases to amaze me:  HIV+
children who are artificially fed die sooner, are sicker, come down with
AIDS sooner, etc....therefore, they should be bottlefed?!  It it weren't so
tragic, it would be funny.

sigh  I know it's a complicated issue, but...damn.....

Conclusion: In this cohort of HIV-infected children, breastfeeding was
not associated with earlier or more severe disease. Those breastfed had
later AIDS onset, less PCP and less chronic diarrhea.  Due to HIV
transmission risk, however, policies recommending not to breastfeed
should not change.
