I'm working with a mom who is nursing an 11 month old, she is
now 7 weeks pregnant. She lost her first baby when she was 6 months
pregnant because of placenta abruptio, during her last pregnancy she had
premature labor with some dialation up to 2cm starting at 5-6 months,
but she
carried the baby to term, (she wasn't on complete bed rest all of the
time either) he was born within a couple of days of her due date. Now
she is pregnant again and her Dr. wants her to wean right now, baby was
nursing 8-9 times a day, the Dr. said wean within a week, now a week
later he's down to 4-5 times a day, but she just doesn't think that she
can get him to wean that fast. She has a little abdominal pain,
occasionally
right after nursing for a couple of minutes. Please respond to my
e-mail address as I'm currently NO MAIL on Lactnet.
Thanks for any help you can get me,
Linda Rochon
