The website, Drugs While Breastfeeding, cited by Karleen Gribble, is
essentially worthless.
I was not able to call up the OTC page, but the others (e.g.,
antihistamines, antibiotics, antidepressants, migraine) offer very biased
and limited information, much of it incorrect. The key seems to be, the
only two sources of information used were:
United States Pharmacopoeia (USP)
Drug Facts and Comparisons
Why one would ever use the USP for breastfeeding information, other than on
very rare occasions when no other information is available, is beyond me.
Drug Facts and Comparisons would never be a first choice for breastfeeding
information. I use it mainly to get drug facts and comparisons as that is
what the text if for.

PS: Does anyone know what happened to Rob Cordes or have a current email
address for him? Thanks.
