Note: I was surprised to learn Hale was firmly against progesterone
suppositories because the plasma levels of progesterone following
intravaginal doses of the gels are much much higher than with the oral
tablets.  He wasn't thrilled with the creams either, using the ' we don't
know what's in that natural stuff complaint

Thanks for the above information regarding Prometruim. I ASSUMED (error on
my part) since Dr's prescribed progesterone in suppositories that
it was safe during breastfeeding. I know many women who received such in
their pregnancy while nursing. In fact, it seems to be the most common mode
of progesterone delivery. I think the whole point of progesterone
supplementation IS to increase higher levels within the body. It is my
understanding the oral tablets is the LEAST effective way to deliver
progesterone. A bit of a quandary here.. huh.?!

Any others have any ideas about this?
