It is a continual embarrassment, and sad reflection on generalized
ignorance, that there are so few milk banks . Just goes to show you how
little human milk is valued even now. Most people, whether health
professionals or not, remain completely unaware of the 4 acceptable foods for
infants. Not only do they not know that human milk in some form holds the
first three spots, many still think that formula is still in a tie with
artificial milks for number one... :(
