Now I know how to respond in similar situations. I will use your wise words
above and say that it is a quote by a well known Israeli philosopher. And
I won't be making it up.
What you said, was just so true. The issue of funding is always a headache
and it would be wonderful to be able to attend Conferences on the other side
of the world if only the source of the funding was not morally questionable.
