It would be quite unusual to have gavage fed this previously 31 weeker for
8wks, ie, until he was 39 weeks adjusted age. Are you sure there weren't
other events at the hospital that now contribute to his aversion? Was he this
way even when breastfeeding in the hospital? It is not uncommon to have a
1kg baby present with oral aversion now or even earlier, though these were
the kids that were intubated, and they don't scream at the breast for 11
months. Was he ever exclusively b/f?
A little more info would be helpful to explain the situation, of course that
doesnt resolve.
