It is very important to distinguish whether of not, when thinking things
through, the Sears' site is funded by the formula company, build by them,
ie services provided, etc. If he traded advertising with them....these are
services that cost money, in usual circles, so they do have monetary value,
in absolute terms.
But, the caution is well worded and important to heed. Not to judge before
the facts are in...and not even then. Questioning, yes. Non-personal
critiqueing, yes. Judgement, no. That is not ours to make. Commentary and
thoughts, yes. I've given mine.
The letter of the law, ie the Code, states that no freebies be given to
health care professionals.
