I wouldn't agree with this for my area, I encourage mom's to get
out of the hospital and back home as quickly as possible to avoid having the
ignorant/misinformed/frequently unsupportive hospital staff foul things up for
them more than absolutely necessary. I much prefer having the home health
nurse/lc go for home visits/weight checks at 3 days pp and 2 weeks pp with phone
contact in between.
