Cindy,
We brought Dr.Jack Newman's "all purpose nipple cream" recipe back from a
conference and had a compounding pharmacist in our area research it. He
ended up with putting together the following which is similiar and seems to
work great according to the moms who have used it. We also never have had
an MD refuse to order it and I always have the same pharmacy mix it for us.
Bactriban cream 10 gm
Nystantin cream 10 gm
Hydrocortisone 1% cream 10 gm
This is then compounded into a 30 gm tube/jar and the patient uses it 3-4
times daily. I hope this helps you.
