It doesn't strictly answer your question Kathy, about how long does alcohol
take to evaporate from breastmilk... I can't understand why the mother
would want to express while she was intoxicated... but there is a paper on
my website which does give the basic facts about breastfeeding and alcohol,
and other drugs as well. Go to http://www.BreastEd.com.au and choose
Articles and Links, and you'll see it there. Julie Mennella seems to be
the researcher who publishes the most on alcohol and breastfeeding.
