I have a question about sterilizing Pump-n-styles...I have a former patient
who wants to sell her PNS and said "it's only been used by me and someone
else and that was 2 years ago" I've informed her that they are designed as
"single person" pumps, but she insists that Medela sells a sterilization kit
for this purpose. Can you or someone else clue me in on this? I told her
that I don't want to be involved in reselling pumps and that it is up to her
to investigate this because the PNS does not have a "back flow" valve (and
could cross contaminate). I want to know for my own knowledge and because
I don't think she is really going to look into it. TIA!
